Required documents

Before proceeding with the completion of your application form, make sure that you have the following required documents (where applicable):

  • Proof of residence (this may be a recent utility bill of at least 6 months or a rental contract) or other official document issued by the relevant El Salvador authorities.

Opening a transit account

It is possible to open a transit account remotely without being present at the bank. You can do this on your own by filling out an application form and sending it to us by e-mail or through any authorized agent.The package of documents required to open an account (where applicable):
